Wells Fargo direct feeds

Connect your Xero bank accounts with Wells Fargo to get your transactions automatically imported into Xero every morning. You can also refresh the feed any time to import new transactions into Xero.

Eligible account types

  • Deposit accounts
  • Loan accounts
  • Credit card accounts
If your account type is not eligible

If your account type is not eligible for direct feeds, try one of the following ways to get your account transactions into Xero:

Connect your accounts

  1. In the Accounts menu, select Bank Accounts and click Add Bank Account.
  2. Start typing 'Wells', then select Wells Fargo from the list.
  3. Click Login & Connect Accounts.
  4. Enter your Wells Fargo online banking username and password, then click Sign On.
  5. Select the accounts you'd like to connect with Xero, then click Continue.
  6. Select the checkbox to confirm that you've read the Terms and Conditions, then click Connect My Accounts.
  7. Next to each bank account, click Connect to a Xero bank account. Then select either the matching bank account in Xero, or New bank account in Xero to create a new bank account.
  8. For each bank account, select the start date that you'd like transactions imported from. If you don't update this, transactions from the last 90 days will be imported into Xero.
  9. Click Connect.

Once connected, your bank transactions will immediately import into Xero.

You can connect extra Wells Fargo accounts at any time. Add a new bank account in Xero, then log into Wells Fargo online banking, select the new bank account you'd like to connect, and then match to the bank account in Xero.

Refresh the feed

If you don't want to wait until the next morning to get new transactions imported into Xero, you can refresh your feed.

  1. In the Accounts menu, select Bank Accounts.
  2. Find the Wells Fargo account you want to refresh. Click Manage Account, then click Refresh Bank Feed.
