Release notes: updates to Xero on 2 March 2015
Here's a summary of what we've released:
- Cheques for Canada
- Quickly create a quote or purchase order from within your contact’s record

Cheques in Xero are rolling further north to Canada, allowing businesses there to more easily account for cheque payments.
You can now quickly create a quote or purchase order while you’re in your contact’s record.

If you usually send out quotes with the same expiry period, you can now set up a default quote expiry date which will automatically populate when you create a quote. You can override this if you need to when you create a quote.
How to set up a default expiry date for quotes
Do you make a lot of bank transfers for items like credit card payments? You can now more quickly add multiple transfers.

Run one of the new reports
Today, in the US, we’ve renamed Profit and Loss to the more appropriate ‘Income Statement’ and Movements in Equity to ‘Statement of Owners' Equity’. In the UK, the Movements in Equity report has been renamed ‘Statement of Changes in Equity’.
Default report layouts have also changed - for example, the fixed asset layout in the UK Balance Sheet. Remember, you can change the layouts to suit your organisation.
