Become a Xero certified adviser
If you're a Xero partner, you can become a Xero certified adviser by completing the Xero Partner Certification programme in Xero U.
How it works
To become Xero certified for the first time, you need to complete the Xero Partner Certification programme in Xero U. You’ll need to earn 40 Xero U (XU) credits as follows:
- The 4 Core Certification Courses for 32 XU credits
- Another 4 Elective Certification Courses of 2 XU credits each for a total of 8 XU credits
You can take the courses in any order you like until you reach 40 XU credits. You can also take any combination of elective courses. However, you must complete all of the 4 Core Certification Courses.
You have 12 months from when you first register to complete the programme, after which you'll be certified for a year. During the next 12 months, you’ll need to keep your certification up-to-date by earning ongoing education credits.
