Manage leave and timesheet requests using My Payroll

Use My Payroll (the employee portal) to approve, edit or decline your team’s leave and timesheets requests if you’ve been authorised.

About approving leave and timesheets

If you’ve been authorised to approve leave and timesheets, you’ll receive an email every time an employee creates a request.

Leave requests automatically exclude hours for any public or other paid holidays you've added to the payroll settings.

Approve or reject a leave request

  1. In the Payroll menu, select My Payroll.
  2. Click the Team Management tab.
  3. Under Pending Requests, click the leave request.
  4. If required, edit the leave request.
  5. Click Approve, Reject or Reject With a Note.

Once approved, the request is included in the upcoming pay run.

Approve or reject a timesheet

  1. In the Payroll menu, select My Payroll.
  2. Click the Team Management tab.
  3. Under Employee Timesheets, click the timesheet.
  4. If required, edit the timesheet request.
  5. Click Approve or Reject.

Employees with rejected timesheets are sent an email notification. The employee can then revert the timesheet to draft, make changes and submit again.
