Set or remove default from reports on the Custom tab

Set a custom report as the default so that your custom report will replace the standard report on the Summary tab or remove a default someone has already set.

Set a custom report as the default

When you set a custom report as the default, next time you access that report from the Summary tab, it will have the custom settings. You can run the custom version from the Custom tab as well.

  1. In the Reports menu, select All Reports.
  2. Click Custom.
  3. Click the menu icon overflow menu icon to the right of the report, then select Make Default.

Remove default from a custom report

When you remove the default, next time you access that report from the Summary tab, it will have the standard Xero settings. You can still run the custom version from the Custom tab.

  1. In the Reports menu, select All Reports.
  2. Click Custom.
  3. Click the menu icon Xero HQ overflow menu icon to the right of the report, then select Remove Default.
