Customize your quotes
Before you start using quotes in Xero, you may want set up or update some of these settings:
Change the automatic numbering sequence of your quotes to your own
Customize the appearance of your quotes by creating a branding theme
Set up email templates specifically for your quotes
Email templates are messages you can set up to use again, when you send emails from Xero.
Change your staff's user roles to control quotes
An effective way to control quotes in your organization is to prevent your staff from both creating and sending quotes. You might want them to just create a quote so you, as the organization owner, can send it.
To prevent your staff being able to send a quote, you need to change their user role in Xero to Invoice Only (Draft Only). But be aware this will also affect their access to bills and sales invoices.
