Remove the registered office address from invoices or other documents

Edit your branding theme to remove the registered office address from showing in the footer of your invoices, credit notes, quotes, statements, purchase orders, receipts and remittance advices.

The registered office address is the postal address entered in Organization Settings.

Remove the registered address from a standard theme

  1. Click Settings, then select General Settings.
  2. Under Features, click Invoice Settings.
  3. Next to the standard theme you want to update, click Options then select Edit.

  4. Uncheck the Show registered address field.

  5. Click Save.

Remove the registered address from a custom branding theme

Edit a custom theme to remove the registered office address from showing.

Read the rules and recommendations for using custom templates before you start customizing your DOCX template. Custom themes are not available for remittance advices.
  1. Click Settings, then select General Settings.
  2. Under Features, click Invoice Settings.
  3. Find the theme you want to change and click Download.
  4. Use Microsoft Word (or equivalent) to open the template you want to change from the ZIP file.
  5. Delete the footer field «RegisteredOffice».

  6. Save the file to your computer.
  7. In Xero on the Invoice Settings screen, click Upload to upload your edited file and update the custom template.
