Create or update a timesheet template

Set up a timesheet template from an approved timesheet so you can use it later on to save time when an employee repeats the same number of hours at the same Earnings Rate. Any templates you set up won't be available to other employees or administrators.

Save an approved timesheet as a template

  1. Go to Payroll, then click Timesheets.
  2. Click the approved timesheet you want to use as a template.
  3. In the timesheet, click Save as Template.
  4. Give the template a name, then click Continue to save the template.

Update a timesheet template

  1. Go to Payroll, then click Timesheets.
  2. Under Add Timesheet, select an employee and pay period.
  3. Select a timesheet template you want to update.
  4. Click Add.
  5. On the timesheet, make the changes you want to make to the template, then click Approve.
  6. Click Update Template.
