Update electronic payment and filing information

Change your organization's electronic filing and payment details so they're up to date and your taxes and filings are processed correctly.

Before you start

Make sure you've paid all due tax payments.

Bank information can't be changed until all tax payments are paid.

Change contact information

  1. Click Settings, then select Payroll Settings.
  2. Click the Electronic Services tab, then click Taxes and Filings.
  3. Under Company Information in the Contact Details section, change the contact’s name, email, or phone number as needed.
  4. Click Update.

Change bank account information

Changing your organization’s bank information or EIN temporarily stops electronic services until the tax authority approves the change. Until that time, you'll need to manually file forms and pay taxes.

To change your organization’s bank account information:

  1. Click Settings, then select Payroll Settings.
  2. Click the Electronic Services tab.
  3. From Taxes and Filings in the Bank Information section, update the bank details as necessary:
  4. Click Update. A confirmation advises that your account will be placed on hold.
  5. Click Proceed. The information is sent to the IRS.
