Update electronic payment and filing information

Change your organization's electronic filing and payment details so your taxes and filings are correct and your details are up-to-date. For example, update the address that your taxes and filings confirmation emails go to.

Before you start

Make sure you pay all due tax payments.

Change contact information

  1. In the Settings menu, select General Settings.
  2. Under Features, select Payroll Settings.
  3. Click the Electronic Services tab, then click Taxes and Filings.
  4. Under Company Information in the Contact Details section, change the contact’s name, email, or phone number as needed.

    Taxes and filings emails are sent to the email address you enter here. You can only enter one address.

  5. Click Update.

Change bank account information

Changing your organization’s bank information or EIN temporarily stops electronic services until the tax authority approves the change. Until that time, you'll need to manually file forms and pay taxes.

To change your organization’s bank account information:

  1. In the Settings menu, select General Settings.
  2. Under Features, select Payroll Settings.
  3. Click the Electronic Services tab.
  4. From Taxes and Filings in the Bank Information section, update the bank details as necessary:
  5. Click Update. A confirmation advises that your account will be placed on hold.
  6. Click Proceed. The information is sent to the IRS.
