Invite employee to My Payroll

Invite an employee to My Payroll so they can view their paystubs, manage time off, and manage timesheets.

Xero uses email to invite an employee to My Payroll. Make sure your employee has an email address saved in Xero by checking their employee details. Otherwise, you can't invite them to My Payroll.

  1. Go to Payroll, then click Employees.
  2. Click the employee's name to open their details.
  3. Under Contact Information, check their email address.

Give an employee access to My Payroll

  1. Go to Payroll, then click Employees.
  2. Select the check box next to the employee that you want to invite to My Payroll.

    If you can't select the check box, your employee does not have an email address in Xero. Click the employee's name to add an email address, then invite them to My Payroll

  3. Click Invite to My Payroll.
