HSBC Hong Kong direct feeds

Get bank account transactions from HSBC Hong Kong sent into Xero every day. To apply for a direct feed, add your bank accounts in Xero, check your account types are eligible, and either apply online or download the application form.

If your account type is not eligible

If your account type is not eligible for direct feeds, try one of the following ways to get your account transactions into Xero:

  • Import a bank statement
  • If you have a HSBC personal account, you’ll need to select that one instead of the HSBC Business account when you add your bank account in Xero.

Connect online

  1. In the Accounts menu, select Bank Accounts and click Add Bank Account.
  2. Start typing 'HSBC', then select HSBC Business Bank (Hong Kong) - Direct Feed from the list.
  3. Click Login & Connect Accounts.
  4. Log in to HSBC Business Internet Banking. In the left menu, navigate to Accounts and click ‘Manage Bank Feed’.
  5. Follow the instructions on the pages.

Once connected, your bank transactions will take up to 2 business days to import into Xero.

Once your transaction data is sent to Xero, it will be imported into your Xero subscription and become subject to the Xero Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. You can cancel your HSBC direct feed at any time by contacting HSBC. Note that there may be a small delay between you canceling the direct feed, and the direct feed being turned off in Xero.
Apply by application form
Download and complete a separate form for each organization in Xero that you want a feed for. Your feeds won’t start for 10 working days so we suggest you apply online if you're an HSBC Business Internet Banking customer and get them started within 2 days.
