Clear the cookies and cache in your web browser

Clearing your cookies and cache ensures that old data is not stored in your browser. You should clear your cookies and cache regularly so Xero continues to work seamlessly.

Before clearing your cookies and cache, close any files or web pages you have open. Once you complete this process, restart your browser and log back into Xero.

When should I clear my cookies and cache?

  • If you're having trouble logging into Xero.
  • If pages in Xero are running slowly, or if buttons or links aren't working.
