Choose options by which to re-run the report:
The date you want the report to start from.
The date you want to run the report until.
Choose either Date or Due date to retrieve unpaid invoices or unallocated credit notes based on the month they were raised (Date) or in the month they were due (Due Date).
Show payments as at a certain date (defaults to the current date).
When the details of the report you want to run are entered or updated, click Update to re-generate the report.
The report shows each bill, credit note, overpayment or prepayment within the relevant period. It will show how long any bills have been overdue (if any) along with the totals on each, less any credits and payments, and the amount you currently owe.
The report displayed will be different depending on how you got there:
- If you got here by clicking on a bill amount outstanding for a month on the Aged Payables report, the report will display all unpaid bills, credit notes, prepayments or overpayments for that supplier for that month.
- If you clicked on the contact name on the Aged Payables report, the report will display all bills, credit notes, prepayments or overpayments for that supplier for all time.
- If you have come from the Contact entry for the organisation, the report will display all bills, credit notes, prepayments or overpayments for that organisation.
You can narrow down the report to a particular time frame using the From and To date fields at the top of the report.
If you are using multi-currency the report footnotes show the figures that were converted into your base currency for the purpose of reporting in one currency and at what rate the conversion rate occurred. They also show where the rate was taken from (i.e. whether it was an XE rate or a rate entered by a user). Find out more on how multi-currency reports in Xero work.
Click on a link on the report (e.g. a bill date) to view the original bill, credit note, overpayment or prepayment.
If the 'Back to Aged Payables' link displays it will take you back to the previously generated Aged Payables report.
