Square + Xero
Connect Square to Xero to automatically create accounting entries for your daily Square sales. This saves you data entry time and speeds up your bank reconciliation.
- Every day, your previous day's sales data from Square is brought into your Xero account. Xero turns this data into a daily sales invoice. Sales, refunds, Square fees, tips, and sales tax are coded to the correct accounts (in your chart of accounts).
- You can keep track of the amount Square owes you by checking the Square clearing account on your balance sheet.
- If you've set up sales tax rates in Square, Xero will automatically create the same sales tax rates in Xero.
- Xero automatically creates bank rules when you connect your Square account. When Square deposits money into your account, you'll be able to reconcile it quickly.
