Add another organisation to Xero
You can add as many organisations to Xero as you like. Choose a pricing plan for each one, or set up a free trial.
Log in to Xero.
From the header, click the list icon , then select My Xero.
On the My Xero dashboard, click Add an organisation.
Enter your organisation's name and where your organisation pays taxes. The country you choose here will determine:
- The default currency for all transactions you create in Xero.
- The currency Xero shows in reports.
- The type of sales tax reporting Xero uses.
The currency of your bill from Xero if you buy a subscription.
- In the What does your organisation do? field, enter a keyword, then select an organisation type.
Enter other details about your organisation, such as your financial year end, if you're registered for VAT, and your previous accounting software.
Then, start a Xero trial, convert from Sage or QuickBooks, or choose a pricing plan if you're ready to pay for Xero.
If you're converting from Sage or QuickBooks right now, you'll need to choose a pricing plan, not start a trial.
