View employee timesheets

View timesheets for your pay calendars to see their status, details, and any not yet submitted by your employees. Then manage each timesheet depending on its status.

Viewing a list of timesheets

The Timesheets screen shows all the timesheets that are needed for the pay run for the selected pay calendar. The list shows timesheet details:

  • The timesheet status.
  • The Create button shows beside employees who haven't submitted their timesheet for the pay period.
  • The hours entered for each earnings type.

Viewing individual timesheets

  • You can filter timesheets by their status. For example, to see if any are missing or need approval.
  • Unsubmitted timesheets are ones that need to be created or completed for the current pay run.
  • Click an individual timesheet to see:
    • The time the employee worked each day (time blocks) based on the pay calendar type. For example, weekly pay calendars are divided into seven days.
    • A summary of the timesheet hours entered for each earnings type.
    • The day and time when you last saved the timesheet based on your computer's local time zone.

View timesheets by status

  1. In the Payroll menu, select Timesheets.
  2. Select the calendar(s) you want to view.

  3. Click Any Status.
  4. Select the status of the timesheets you want to see.

View an employee's timesheet

  1. In the Payroll menu, select Timesheets.
  2. Click the timesheet you want to view.

You can now edit or approve the timesheet.
