Why is my employee not showing up in a pay run?

If your employee doesn't appear in a pay run, they may not be associated with the right calendar or they may have an end date before the start of the current pay calendar.

Check that the pay calendars match

  1. In the Payroll menu, select Employees.
  2. Click the employee's name to open their details, then click their Employment tab.
  3. Check their pay calendar, and if it doesn't match, select a calendar from Payroll Calendar list that is the same as the pay run you would like to see them appear in.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Adjust the previous payroll payments or revert a pay run to draft and post the pay run again.

Check end dates for employees who are leaving your organisation

If you have ended the employee's employment, and they don't appear in a pay run as expected, make sure their termination date falls within the calendar period for the pay run.

If you've entered a termination date that falls after the pay run dates, you can adjust the previous payroll payments or revert a pay run to draft, update your employee's termination date, reset the payslip and post the pay run again.
