Approve leave as an authorised employee

If you're an employee who's been authorised to approve leave, you can review and approve it using the My Payroll employee portal.

You won’t be able to view or edit the approved request unless you are a Payroll Admin.

Approve an employee's leave

  1. Go to Payroll, then click My Payroll. If you don’t see the menu, don't worry you're already in it.
  2. From the Overview tab, scroll down to Leave Requests.
  3. Click the leave request you want to approve.
  4. Review the hours to ensure they are correct for the number of days a week the employee works.

    The employee's leave balance excludes current requests and all unprocessed leave.

  5. If required, edit any details.
  6. Click Approve.
