Square + Xero
Connect Square to Xero to automatically create accounting entries for your daily Square sales. This saves you data entry time and speeds up your bank reconciliation. Payment processing isn't available for users in New Zealand.
- Every day, your previous day's sales data from Square is brought into your Xero account. Xero turns this data into a daily sales invoice. Sales, refunds, tips, and sales tax are coded to the correct accounts (in your chart of accounts).
- If you've set up sales tax rates in Square, Xero will automatically create the same sales tax rates in Xero.
- Square Point of Sale records sales but doesn't process payments. You'll need to set up your own bank rules to match your Square invoices to your bank statement lines.
