Bank notifications in Xero for iOS

If you have bank feeds set up for your accounts, you can enable notifications on your iOS device. We'll let you know when new transactions arrive in your account. You'll need to have the Standard, Adviser, or Cashbook Client user role to turn on bank notifications.

Turn on notifications

To turn on notifications on your iPhone or iPad, follow these steps for each bank account you would like notifications for:

  1. Reconcile all outstanding account transactions.
  2. After your last transaction has been matched, tap Tell me about new transactions.
  3. If you see this pop-up message: Xero would like to send you notifications, tap OK.

Turn off notifications

To turn off notifications on your iPhone or iPad, follow these steps for each bank account you would like to turn off notifications for:

  1. Reconcile all outstanding account transactions.
  2. After your last transaction has been matched, tap Turn off transaction notifications.

Apple Watch notifications

If you've turned on Xero account notifications and you've synced your Watch with the apps on your iPhone, Xero notifications will be enabled on your Watch.
