Square + Xero
Connect Square to Xero to automatically create accounting entries for your daily Square sales. This saves you data entry time and speeds up your bank reconciliation. Payment processing is only available for Canadian users.
- Every day, your previous day's sales data from Square is brought into your Xero account. Xero turns this data into a daily sales invoice. Sales, refunds, Square fees (Canadian users only), tips, and sales tax are coded to the correct accounts (in your chart of accounts).
- You can keep track of the amount Square owes you by checking the Square clearing account on your balance sheet.
- If you've set up sales tax rates in Square, Xero will automatically create the same sales tax rates in Xero.
