Activity statements alerts

Filter the activity feed to show only Activity statements alerts. Learn more about each alert type and what you can do with it.

How it works

  • Activity statement alerts only show for statements due after the last published statement.
  • Alerts show the day after the end of the reporting period.
  • The due date is the earliest date the Activity statement is due for filing and does not take into account any extensions that may be available to a Tax Agent.

Filtering

You can filter Activity statement alerts further by sub-type:

Overdue

  • Overdue: Ready to prepare - The due date for filing the statement has passed and all transactions have been reconciled, but the statement has not been published.

Click Prepare to go to the Activity Statement screen in Xero and complete the Business Activity Statement (BAS) or Instalment Activity Statement (IAS).

  • Overdue: Transactions to reconcile - The due date for filing the return has passed, but there are still transactions to reconcile.

Click Reconcile to go to the Bank Accounts screen in Xero and reconcile your bank account.

Ready

To reconcile

  • Transactions to reconcile - The last day of reporting period has passed but there are still transactions to reconcile.

Click Reconcile to go to the Bank Accounts screen in Xero and reconcile your bank account.

  • Overdue: Transactions to reconcile - The due date for filing the return has passed, but there are still transactions to reconcile.

Click Reconcile to go to the Bank Accounts screen in Xero and reconcile your bank account.

Activity statement alerts are shown for a client organisation only after the first BAS return or IAS return has been published, which determines the filing period.
