Change branding theme name, or change or delete heading

Edit your branding theme to rename it, or change or delete the heading (title) of a sales invoice, credit note, quote, statement, purchase order, receipt or remittance advice.

Rename a branding theme

If you've set up multiple branding themes, their names display when you apply one to an invoice, statement, credit note, quote, purchase order, receipt or remittance advice. You can rename theme names.

  1. Click Settings, then select General Settings.
  2. Under Features, click Invoice Settings.
  3. Next to the standard theme you want to update, click Options then select Edit.

  4. Edit the name in the Name field. You can use a combination of letters, numbers, punctuation and spaces up to 30 characters long.

  5. Click Save.

Edit or delete a transaction heading

By default, headings show at the top of invoices, credit notes, quotes, statements, purchase orders, receipts, or remittance advices. You can edit and delete the headings.

  1. Click Settings, then select General Settings.
  2. Under Features, click Invoice Settings.
  3. Next to the standard theme you want to update, click Options then select Edit.

  4. Delete the existing heading or enter a new one, up to 20 characters long, in the relevant titlefield.

    Depending on your business and how you invoice your customers, you could rename overdue invoices to Copy Invoice or similar so your customers know when an invoice is a copy.

  5. Click Save.
