Add or edit a project in Projects for Android

Add a new project so you can track time and expenses, and review the profitability of the project. You can edit the project if you need to change any of the details..

Add a new project

  1. From the Projects menu, tap +.
  2. Start typing your client’s name in the Who’s it for? field.
  3. Either:
    • Select one of your existing Xero contacts.
    • Tap ADD NEW, complete the fields, then tap the checkmark icon to add a new contact.
  4. Give the project a name.
  5. (Optional) Tap Deadline to select a date.
  6. (Optional) Tap Total estimate to add an estimate.
  7. Tap the checkmark icon

Edit an existing project

  1. From the Projects menu, tap the menu icon Image of the More menu icon in Xero for Android. then tap Edit project.
  2. Make your changes.
  3. Tap the checkmark icon
