Authorise an employee to approve leave and timesheets

Give an employee permission to approve leave and timesheets, so they can approve it for other employees using My Payroll (the employee portal).

You must have Payroll Admin access to give permission to approve leave and timesheets.

Payroll Admin access

  1. Go to Payroll, then click Employees.
  2. Click the employee's name to open their details.
  3. Click the Employment tab.
  4. If the employee has the authority to approve leave, select the Authorised to Approve Leave checkbox.
  5. If the employee has the authority to approve timesheets, select the Authorised to Approve Timesheets checkbox.
  6. Click Save.
If the employee cannot access My Payroll, invite them so they can log in and manage their payroll.
