Show and hide information on your employee payslips

Choose the details to show on your employee payslips including their leave balances, annual salary and employment basis (whether they're working full or part time), and company logo.

Show or hide leave balances in payslips

  1. In the Settings menu, select General Settings.
  2. Under Features, click Payroll Settings.
  3. Under Pay Items, click Leave.
  4. In the row for the item you want to update, click on the overflow menu and select Edit.
  5. (Optional) Select the Show Balance on Payslip checkbox to show the balance on the employee's payslip and in their My Payroll account.
  6. Click Save.

Add salary and employment details, and your company logo to payslips

  1. In the Settings menu, select General Settings.
  2. Under Features, click Payroll Settings.
  3. (Optional) From the Organisation tab under Payslip Options, select the checkboxes to show the employee's annual salary and employment basis or other working hours.
  4. (Optional) Under Company Logo, click Upload Logo and add the image you want to display on payslips.

    It can be a .jpg or .png file. The ideal fit is 529px wide by 139px high, but Xero will resize images for you.

  5. Click Save.
