Run and view all payroll reports

Payroll reports are available to view information about your payroll history, timesheets, time off leave requests and employee information.

You'll need Payroll Admin access to run and view the payroll reports. This is because they contain sensitive and confidential employee information.

Payroll report options

Payroll reports have different layout, filter and export options to other reports in Xero. Unlike other Xero reports, payroll reports can't be saved as draft, published, archived or favourited.

Include a specific pay run in a report

If you're looking for a specific pay run in a payroll report, make sure the report period includes that pay run's pay day. Payroll reports use the payment date of each pay run, not the pay period ending date.

For example, if a pay period ended on 31 July, but pay day was 2 August, you will see it on reports for August.

Select dates carefully to ensure you include the pay runs you want.
