Edit or delete a pay calendar

Edit an existing pay calendar to change how you pay your employees, or delete a calendar completely. You don’t need to assign updated calendars to your employees.

Edit a pay calendar

  1. In the Settings menu, select Payroll Settings.
  2. Click the Calendars tab.
  3. Click the calendar you want to edit.
  4. You can't change the pay period dates once a calendar has been assigned to an employee and processed in a pay run. Create a new pay calendar if you need a calendar with different pay period dates.
  5. Make your changes and click Update.

Delete a pay calendar

  1. In the Settings menu, select Payroll Settings.
  2. Click the Calendars tab.
  3. Click the delete icon Image of the Delete icon. for the calendar.
  4. Click Yes.

Delete a locked pay calendar

Pay calendars which have a lock icon Padlock icon can’t be deleted as they are in use. You can still remove them by:

  1. Creating a new pay calendar with the correct details.
  2. Assigning the pay calendar to all employees using that calendar, in their employment details.
  3. Deleting the old pay calendar.
