PayPal payment missing from imported transactions
Here's what to do if an invoice has been marked as paid but the PayPal transaction hasn't imported ready for you to reconcile. Xero only imports PayPal transactions with a completed, cleared or reversed status.
- Go to Accounts, then click Sales.
- Click Paid.
- Click the invoice you want to check.
Click Show History.
Check the line showing Payment processed, if the payment is pending you'll need to log into PayPal and manually approve the payment.
Once the payment has been approved, this transaction will appear in your bank account the next time PayPal transactions are imported into your Xero organisation.
You'll need to manually create a spend money transaction for the PayPal fee.
