Add a contact
Here's one of the ways you can add an individual customer or supplier as a contact. You might add a contact this way - rather than when you're entering their first transaction - to set up customised details such as default tax settings or due dates.
- Click the plus icon and select Contact.
- Enter your contact's name or full ABN number to activate the business lookup.
- Select a contact if there's a match. Xero will automatically populate the address and ABN number when available.
- (Optional) Enter your contact's details.
- Click Save.
For contacts added using the business lookup, their credit risk information will be saved to their contact details.
